My friends and I are planning to go for a tour to Miami. It has been a year since we went for a tour and we will surely go this time. The only regret is my friend Sergio (sen) will not be coming with us. Hope it will be a memorable tour for all of us.
Dubai is one of the most densely populated places in the world. To reduce this deficit of space the Dubai government is shifting some of the most space consuming projects such as airports to artificial islands. It is the home to some of the largest artificial island complexes in the world, including the three Palm Island projects, The World and The Dubai Waterfront, the last of which will be the largest in scale. Such islands are also equipped to house several thousands of people. The construction of such artificial islands will also provide job opportunities to several people.
Chandigarh is regarded as one of the most beautiful cities in India. Le Corbusier planned the city for a population of 500,000. The city plan was laid out in a grid pattern. There are separate lanes for cars, trucks, cycles and pedestrians. The city also has several parks that add to its greenery. The city was to be surrounded by a 16 KM wide greenbelt that was to ensure that no development could take place in the immediate vicinity of the town. If one of the Indian Cities can be like this, why not others ?
